Victoria Mutual Pensions Management Limited (VMPM), formerly Prime Asset Management, was formed in 1996, as a division of Prime Life Assurance Company Limited, and eventually evolved to become a stand-alone entity. The Company was acquired by Victoria Mutual in 2013. The acquisition enabled the Victoria Mutual Group to expand its products and service range with the incorporation of pension services, providing Members with comprehensive solutions for each stage of their life cycle.
A New Era
On May 2, 2017, the organisation completed its name change to Victoria Mutual Pensions Management, the final stage of its transition. As a member of a Strong Integrated Financial Group, VMPM is proud to be the sole independent pension fund manager in Jamaica and the 3rd largest provider of pension fund services. VMPM intends to continue along its growth trajectory by not only exercising prudent investment management strategies but by also boosting efficiency through the use of technology in order to deliver superior service to its clients.

Our growth of Funds under Management (FUM) has been driven by our clients' confidence in our ability to deliver value. As at September 2016, total FUM was J$34B, for a client base of 7,900 members. The company continues to experience growth, driven mainly through rigorous asset allocation strategies and by performance across all assets.
